high blood pressure
My blood pressure seems to be getting worse today: 180/110
Your elevated blood pressure readings are of great concern. Having a diastolic reading above 100 is very dangerous and puts you at risk for a variety of serious health problems some of which can come on very suddenly.
At this point, I highly recommend you see a health care provider immediately to have your situation assessed due to the uncontrolled nature of the your problem. Natural therapies may be able to help you but because your blood pressure is so high right now you must seek one on one professional help from a regular or alternative medical provider. Once you have gotten things somewhat under control you can start to experiment with using a supplement based approach.
In the meantime, make sure you stay well hydrated, watch your sodium intake, reduce your stress and engage in mild activity like walking. In the future you may consider natural products that contain taurine, magnesium, hawthorne extract and coleus Forskohlii (see posting from 4-9-2008 http://www.vitabase.com/doctor/questions/help-for-high-blood-pressure-and-allergies-336.aspx for more specific information regarding blood pressure.
