Echinacea Purpurea Herb has been clinically shown to support the body’s immune system. It is also considered to play an effective role in detoxifying the circulatory, lymphatic and respiratory systems. Echinacea Purpurea Herb has been traditionally used to combat colds, flu and other infectious diseases.
A less traditional use of the plant is as a treatment for wounds, burns, insect bites and stings, boils and even acne. Echinacea Purpurea’s active constituents include caffeic acid derivatives, polysaccharides, alkylamides, polyacetylenes and flavonoids. Flavonoids are an important component of Echinacea Purpurea as they have been shown to have anti-cancer properties and to fight heart disease.
Suggested Use: As an addition to the daily diet, take one to three capsules three times daily, preferably with food. After taking Echinacea for 6 to 8 weeks, a two week break is recommended before restarting use for best results.
