History and Usage:

Host Defense Extract is a combination of 17 proprietary Activated Organic Mushrooms. This formula has been shown to increase human Natural Killer (NK) cell activity by 300%. Each of the individual Activated Organic Mushrooms has its own immune system support capability, but this combination increases the capability much more. Host Defense® is rich in Glycoproteins, Arabinoxylanes, Ergosterols, and Broad Spectrum 1,3 1,4 & 1,6 B-Glucans. Among other Activated Organic Mushroom species, Host Defense Extract contains Maitake, The Brazilian Blazei, Chaga, Reishi, Cordyceps, Mesima, Yun Zhi, Zhu Ling, Lion's Mane
