Interest in Royal Jelly as a health supplement began in the 1950’s. It has since become a staple for many people. Royal Jelly, also called bee’s milk, is a thick, creamy liquid produced by worker bees who act as nurses. All bee larvae receive this food during their first three days. Beginning with day four they receive different food. Only the larva designated to be a queen bee continues to receive royal jelly.
Royal Jelly causes drastic differences in the larva. A queen bee is 40% larger than worker bees and lives 40-50 times longer. During season she will lay thousands of eggs each day equal to more than twice her body weight. It is these spectacular results that led to interest in Royal Jelly as a food supplement.
Biochemically royal jelly is very complex. It is rich in amino acid including eight which are essential for human health, essential fatty acids, vitamins, minerals, RNA, and DNA. Royal jelly is a good source for many B-complex vitamins including B1, B2, B6, and B12, biotin, folic acid, and inositol.
It is high in pantothenic acid which is known for its ability to lower stress levels. Royal jelly also contains gamma globulin which can stimulate the immune system and fight infections. According to some studies, royal jelly shows antibiotic and antiviral properties.
Suggested Use: As a dietary supplement, take 1 capsule daily, preferably with meals.

All Vitabase brand products are manufactured within the USA. This is an important for quality because the FDA inspects our manufacturing facilities regularly. In other countries, governmental agencies may not necessarily exercise much control over manufacturing processes.
We source our ingredients from around the world. This is important because the best available ingredients are not necessarily made in the United States. For example, we get our liquid herbal extract ingredients from Europe because they are absolutely the best on the market.
