History and Usage:

Liver PF™ supports the liver’s detoxification processes through a combination of various herb and other nutrients. Liver PF™ is particularly directed toward the Phase 2 enzymes that have the ability to remove toxins in the liver. Milk thistle and Artichoke extracts have demonstrated an ability to guard glutathione levels in the liver and to boost the generation and release of bile, which is important for toxin elimination. PicroMax™ utilizes a compound called kutkin that is similar to silymarin in milk thistle. Kutkin assists the liver’s regenerative ability, which probably occurs through the stimulation of synthesizing protein and nucleic acids. Pantethine triggers the enzymes that metabolize alcohol and is a co-factor in the metabolism of fat and carbohydrates. Additionally, alpha lipoic acid is an antioxidant that also helps the liver’s regeneration of glutathione. N-acetyl-L-cysteine (NAC) is a precursor to glutathione. Uridine is essential in the transfer and preservation of genetic information and in the biosynthesis of DNA.
