Lysine is an amino acid. In the body,
amino acids are critical since they form proteins that are the building blocks of many body tissues including muscles. Lysine is needed for tissue repair and growth, and is utilized in the production of antibodies, enzymes and hormones.
Too little lysine in the diet may exhibit itself in kidney stones. You may also develop fatigue, nausea, dizziness, anemia and reproductive disorders. Lysine aids in the improved absorption of calcium and lessens the loss of calcium through the urine. Because of this, some researchers think it may be beneficial in
preventing osteoporosis.
Suggested Use: As a dietary supplement, adults take one (1) tablet, one (1) to three (3) times daily with meals, or as directed by a health care professional. Store in a cool, dry place and away from direct light.

All Vitabase brand products are manufactured within the USA. This is an important for quality because the FDA inspects our manufacturing facilities regularly. In other countries, governmental agencies may not necessarily exercise much control over manufacturing processes.
We source our ingredients from around the world. This is important because the best available ingredients are not necessarily made in the United States. For example, we get our liquid herbal extract ingredients from Europe because they are absolutely the best on the market.
