  • A powerful antioxidant.
  • Reduces oxidation of LDL cholesterol .
  • Offers cardiovascular protection.

A very strong antioxidant, the flavanol Quercetin provides powerful cardiovascular protection by minimizing the oxidation of LDL cholesterol. Quercetin is one of the two halves of the rutin molecule, another flavonol (subclass of flavonoids). The superior antioxidant properties exhibited by Quercetin make it an ideal supplement for those with high levels of LDL cholesterol. Quercetin’s fight against LDL cholesterol is a fight against heart disease.

Interestingly, Quercetin also has antihistamine properties. Specifically, it may fight prostate cancer through blocking hormones that increase the growth of prostate cancer cells. Quercetin may also reduce urinary symptoms in those who suffer an inflamed prostate (prostatitis).

Studies have demonstrated that those with high intakes of quercetin-containing foods show lower heart disease and lung cancer rates. Quercetin-rich foods may limit the risk of some respiratory diseases, e.g., bronchitis, asthma, and emphysema.

Suggested Use: Take 1 or more capsules per day with meals, or as directed by your qualified health care consultant.
