  • Decreases level of homocysteine .
  • Provides protection against DNA damage.

TMG 500 utilizes Trimethylglycine (TMG; also known as anhydrous betaine), a very efficient methyl donor produced from sugar beets. Methyl donors, like folic acid and TMG, are required for their ability to reduce homocysteine into methionine and to ensure accuracy in the DNA and RNA synthesis, thereby helping in normal cell production.

The functions of methylation are obstructed by a number of factors: Improper functioning of enzymes, over intake of fats and proteins, and a lack of consumption of methyl groups. Coffee, alcohol, and smoking can hinder the functions of methylation.

The inhibition of methylation results in abnormal synthesis of cells, increase in the levels of homocysteine, a toxic amino acid which can cause serious health damage.

Suggested Use: Take 1 to 2 tablets daily with a meal, or as directed by your qualified health consultant. Keep tightly closed. Store in a cool, dry place.

Trimethylglycine (Anhydrous Betaine) 500 mg *
* Daily Value Not Established

Notes: TMG 500 contains Trimethylglycine (TMG, also known as anhydrous betaine), a highly effective methyl donor extracted from sugar beets. Methyl donors, such as TMG and folic acid, are required for converting homocysteine back into methionine and for the accurate synthesis of DNA and RNA, which is essential for the production of normal cells.* Methylation is inhibited by inadequately functioning key enzymes, excessive protein and fat intake, poor diet, inadequate intake of methyl groups, coffee, alcohol or by smoking.* Impairment of methylation results in abnormal cell synthesis and elevated levels of homocysteine, a toxic amino acid and a serious health risk.*

Other Ingredients: Dicalcium phosphate, modified cellulose gum, silicon dioxide and magnesium stearate

Caution: Keep out of the reach of children.
