TMG 500 utilizes Trimethylglycine (TMG; also known as anhydrous betaine), a very efficient methyl donor produced from sugar beets. Methyl donors, like folic acid and TMG, are required for their ability to reduce homocysteine into methionine and to ensure accuracy in the DNA and RNA synthesis, thereby helping in normal cell production.

The functions of methylation are obstructed by a number of factors: Improper functioning of enzymes, over intake of fats and proteins, and a lack of consumption of methyl groups. Coffee, alcohol, and smoking can hinder the functions of methylation.

The inhibition of methylation results in abnormal synthesis of cells, increase in the levels of homocysteine, a toxic amino acid which can cause serious health damage.

Suggested Use: Take 1 scoop per day, or as directed by your qualified health care consultant. Keep tightly closed out of the reach of children. Store in a cool, dry place.
