History and Usage:

Children’s DHA is an excellent adjunct to encourage the proper development of the brain and visual organs. This formulation provides a healthy level of vitamins A and D, both required by the eyes for visual health. Vitamin E, another necessary fat-soluble vitamin, is incorporated for its antioxidant properties as well. DHA, or docosahexaenoic acid, an omega-3 essential fatty acid, is a necessary component in the formation of certain phospholipids required by the retina. Additionally, DHA is required for the formation of serotonin in the brain. A deficiency of it has been linked to depression and ADHD, although proof of this connection requires further research.
