Lactose intolerance is an uncomfortable condition brought on by the body’s inability to digest milk sugar. This happens when the body is deficient in lactase, an enzyme necessary to break down lactose (milk sugar). As a result when a person consumes milk or another dairy product, part remains undigested and retains fluid. It then ferments in the colon manifesting itself in a variety of symptoms including gas, cramping and diarrhea.

Lactase breaks down dairy products,

The product has a two-step process, featuring enzymes that are active in the stomach and dairy-metabolizing Lactobacilli that become active in the intestines. L-acidophilus contributes to the production of lactase. The two Lactobacilli species are protected from harsh stomach through a micro-encapsulation process. Each serving helps the body process an equivalent of eight ounces of whole milk.
Suggested Use: As a dietary supplement, adults take one (1) vegetarian capsule immediately for each serving of dairy-containing food (please refer to the chart below for equivalent servings of various dairy foods). Store in a cool, dry place and away from direct light.
