History and Usage:

Thyme Linalol BIO, derived from the herb Thymus vulgaris, is a sweet-smelling oil with a warming effect. The name of the plant comes from the Greek word for perfume and, in fact, the Greeks valued the scent of thyme as one that inspired courage. The fragrance of the oil is stimulating and invigorating. In aromatherapy, it is used to battle fatigue and depression, as well as to sharpen concentration. Thymol, one of its chemical components, has an antiseptic effect and so can contribute to maintaining clear and healthy skin. Used as part of a massage blend, Thyme Linalol BIO oil softens the skin and can improve circulation.
