History and Usage:

Kyolic Formula 108 with B6, B12 is made with organic garlic extract, which is aged and processed to remove odor. Kyolic Formula 108 with B6, B12 also contains folic acid and L-Arginine to help support good cholesterol, blood pressure and circulation. The formula also promotes a balance of homocysteine levels. Unbalanced homocysteine levels have been linked to health concerns such as Alzheimer’s disease, heart disease, osteoporosis and strokes.

Kyolic is patented for its capability to reduce homocysteine levels. In a study of 734 subjects, the levels of homocysteine were highest in those with the lowest amount of folic acid, vitamin B12 and vitamin B6. Garlic was added to the formula due to its antioxidant, blood pressure support and high cholesterol treatment properties. L-Arginine has been shown to reduce blood homocysteine levels and to decrease blood pressure.
