Rutozym is an enzyme tablet containing beneficial enzymes that promote the breakdown of excess fibrin in the blood. Fibrin is a protein associated with blood clot formation in the heart and circulatory system.

Rutozym uses two specific plant enzymes. Rutin is a bioflavonoid contained in plants like buckwheat and apple skins and has a beneficial effect on the body’s capillaries, allowing more efficient absorption of nutrients and oxygen. Papain and bromelain are two plant-based enzymes derived from the papaya and pineapple, respectively. Nattokinase is an enzyme produced by Bacillus natto, which is present in the Japanese delicacy natto, a cheese-like food made of fermented soybeans associated with the extremely low levels of cardiac trouble in Japan. White willow bark is a source of naturally-occurring acetylsalicylic acid, the main constituent of aspirin which exhibits clot-preventing traits.
