Chrysin is an extract from the plant, a member of the passionflower family. Chrysin may help the body conserve testosterone levels. Chrysin is currently being investigated for a wide range of potential therapeutic benefits. Chrysin may relax the linings of the artery walls, reduce blood pressure, and stop chemical reactions that cause nausea and vomiting associated with withdrawal from certain drugs. Some clinical trials may suggest that it stops the growth of certain kinds of thyroid cancer.
