VPH combines the relaxing benefits of passionflower, skullcap, hops and valerian to encourage restful and restorative relaxation. Rest and relaxation are necessary to enable the human body to repair depleted cells and to fix damage sustained during the day. This is the time for tissue building. Valerian has long been known for its ability to quiet the whirling mind and relax tension. Passionflower, in addition to encouraging relaxation, is of use in the treatment of depression as one of its constituents is related to MAOI’s. Hops, a traditional folk remedy for insomnia, contains dimethylvinyl carbinol, which is an active sleep-inducing agent. L-theanine, a compound found in tea, has the ability to reduce mental and physical stress.
Suggested Use: Take 1 capsule at bedtime. Do not exceed 2 capsules daily.
