History and Usage:

Yaeyama Chlorella, a single-celled, fresh water algae, is a subspecies of Chlorella vulgaris. Yaeyama Chlorella is grown and harvested in the pure environment of the Japan’s Ishigaki Island coral reef region. Fresh mountain spring water, tropical sunshine and food grade nutrients are used to cultivate the environment needed to grow Yaeyama Chlorella. Jet-spray drying macerates the cell wall of the algae Yaeyama Chlorella in order to encourage the absorption of its beneficial nutrients.

Yaeyama Chlorella is an excellent source of chlorophyll, proteins, beta carotene (Vitamin A), Chlorella Growth Factor (CGF- high in RNA/DNA), and many other nutrients.
