History and Usage:

Oreganol P73 Oil of Oregano is a formulation of certified wild, hand-picked Mediterranean oregano, whose oil has been the subject of research conducted by Georgetown University and other centers. The P73 designation indicates this oregano product is powerful and effective. Oregano oil is a potent broad-spectrum antimicrobial agent, containing high concentrations of phenolic derivatives such as carvacrol and thymol. Research suggests oregano oil may be an effective treatment for several forms of systemic and superficial fungal infections and may have a broad spectrum-effect against other diseases, including cancer. One study showed that 80% of Hepatitis C patients who received Oreganol P73 had a decrease in HCV RNA viral loads.
