History and Usage:

Spectrum 2C Vegetarian is formulated to supply the full daily requirement of important vitamins and minerals. As an added benefit, it uses only non-animal sources, so it is appropriate for vegans. There are also no added artificial ingredients. Spectrum 2C Vegetarian provides important trace minerals, sometimes called micronutrients because of the miniscule quantities needed by the human body on a daily basis. For example, molybdenum is an important ingredient in enzyme formation and utilization in the human body. Its inclusion in this formulation aids the plant enzymes bromelain and papain in the absorption of many nutrients. Betaine, another relatively unknown substance, is a neutrally charged ion that augments the osmosis of nutrients through cell walls.
