History and Usage: UltraNutrient is an advanced performance, multi-nutrient supplement providing exceptional broad-spectrum nutritional support. Utilizing some of the most highly recognized antioxidants, nutrients, and botanicals, UltraNutrient enhances Nutrient 950® with alpha lipoic acid, coenzyme Q10, and reduced glutathione, as well as standardized extracts of hawthorn, ginger, milk thistle and turmeric. This formula also introduces forms of vitamins and minerals newly recognized for their bioavailability and potency, including: vitamin C as ascorbyl palmitate, and beta carotene from mixed carotenoids. As part of a well-balanced diet that is low in saturated fat and cholesterol, folic acid, vitamin B6 and vitamin B12 may reduce the risk of vascular disease. (The FDA evaluated the above claim and found that while it is known that diets low in saturated fats and cholesterol reduce the risk of heart disease and other vascular diseases, the evidence in support of the above claim is inconclusive.)

What Is It?
UltraNutrient® combines the core vitamins and minerals of Nutrient 950® with advanced antioxidants and standardized phytonutrient extracts to provide a supplement of exceptional broad-spectrum nutritional support.

Uses For UltraNutrient®
Enhanced Antioxidant Support: Like Nutrient 950, UltraNutrient provides a high profile of free radical scavenging antioxidants important for cardiovascular, immune, and cellular health. In addition, UltraNutrient contains reduced glutathione, alpha lipoic acid and an enhanced level of mixed carotenoids for high capacity antioxidant support.

Enhanced Cardiovascular System Support: In addition to folic acid, vitamin B6, and vitamin B12 , this formula also provides hawthorn extract, CoQ10, and ginger extract to help promote cardiovascular health.

Enhanced Liver Support: Curcuma longa (turmeric) supports liver cell function, while silybum marianum (milk thistle) promotes glutathione production and superoxide dismutase activity to protect the liver from free-radical damage. Milk thistle also stimulates protein synthesis for new liver tissue and optimal hepatic functioning.

Also contains: Crataegus oxyacantha (hawthorn) extract, standardized to contain 2% vitexins; Zingiber officinale (ginger) extract, standardized to contain 5% gingerols; Silybum marianum (milk thistle) extract, standardized to contain 80% silymarin; and Curcuma longa (turmeric) extract, standardized to contain 97% curcuminoids.

There is no detectable GMO material in this product.

Are There Any Potential Side Effects Or Precautions? If pregnant or lactating, consult your physician before taking this product. Alpha lipoic acid may cause skin rash and potentially hypoglycemia in diabetics. Individuals who are sensitive may experience heartburn. People with a history of gallstones should consult a doctor before using ginger.
