History and Usage:

familE™ comprises the entire eight members of the vitamin E family (tocopherols and tocotrienols). They are also known as “Toco’s” -- 4 forms of tocopherols and 4 forms of tocotrienols, and they are mostly found in vegetable oils and plant seeds. familE™ combines the vitamin E family with the cardiovascular nutrients lutein and pantethine. familE™ is an excellent source of the vitamin E members Gamma tocopherol and tocotrienols (Tocomin®). These enhance antioxidant and cardiovascular function. Some supplements may have an excess of the vitamin E family member d-Alpha tocopherol, which would deplete Gamma tocopherol. However, familE™ is fortified with a molecular distillate of palm fruit oil, which provides the most powerful and all-encompassing tocotrienol complex. familE™ guards precious cardiovascular functions through the reduction of low-density lipoproteins oxidation.

familE™ also contains Squalene, which is a hormonal building block. Lutein is a xanthophyll (oxygenated carotenoid) that occurs naturally with zeaxanthin, a closely related carotenoid. One clinical study demonstrated that lutein guards vascular health by curbing monocyte migration into the arterial cells. Pantethine (Pantesin®) is the stable disulfide form of pantothenic acid (Vitamin B5), and it is the physiological coenzyme A precursor in the Krebs cycle. Pantethine supports fat metabolism through its ability to elevate levels of CoA, a cofactor involved in numerous metabolic pathways including sugar and fat metabolism.
