Beta Carotene contains important antioxidant and perhaps the best known carotenoid. It is one of approximately 50 carotenoids known as "provitamin A"compounds, able to be converted in the body into retinol, an active form of vitamin A. It is stored in the body and converted to Vitamin A as needed. Vitamin A deficiencies have been linked to a number of health issues including poor vision, and poor bone development.
Our product contains 100% natural beta carotene from d. salina sea algae. D. salina offers a balanced mixture of antioxidant carotenoids such as alpha carotene, zeaxanthin, cryptoxanthin, and lutein. The natural balance makes this product the more bioavailable than other forms of beta carotene.
Suggested Use: As a dietary supplement, take 1 softgel daily, preferably with meals.
