Calcium D-Glucarate supports and enhances the detoxification processes in order to help fight oxidative stress at the cellular level, thus preventing damage to various organ systems. Calcium D-Glucarate also enables a support system for hormonal balance.
Calcium D-glucarate functions slow down the dangerous beta-glucuronidase enzyme, and so protect any critical "glucuronidation" detoxification mechanism. Glucuronidation is believed to be a risk factor for breast cancer. Beta-glucuronidase enzyme at too high of a level is often linked to increased occurrences of breast cancer.
