My Favorite Multiple for Women by Natrol is especially designed for woman and combines folic acid, calcium and antioxidants that help women achieve and maintain good health.

Folic acid is a coenzyme that helps form body proteins and hemoglobin. An unborn fetus can develop birth defects if the baby’s mother is deficient. It is recommended that pregnant women take 0.4 mg of folic acid everyday for at least the first three months of pregnancy. Calcium is essential because movement of calcium ion acts as a signal for many chemical processes within the cells. It also is very important in mineralization of bones. Antioxidants prevent the oxidation of molecules and prevent oxidative stress.
