Purposes: Minerals are essential to the well-being of the body. Alfalfa is a good source to obtain our daily needs and can be used in the healing process.

Type: External
Purposes: Goldenseal can either be used to heal mouth sores and to reduce inflammation.
Dosage: Put a few drops on a small piece of gauze or cloth and place on the mouth sore before you go to bed.

Feverfew, Pau D'arco, & Red Clover

  • Obtain plenty of fiber in your diet.
  • Stay away from alfalfa sprouts.
  • Stay away from eggplant, tomatoes, white potatoes, peppers, and other nightshade vegetables. The solanine in these vegetables can cause pain and inflammation.
  • Stay away from red meat, dairy products, caffeine, tobacco, milk, sugar, citrus fruits, paprika, and salt.
  • Stay away from salt, fat, and animal protein as these can cause kidney problems and an over reactive immune system. Olive oil and canola oil are acceptable. Sardines provide needed essential fatty acids.
  • Stay out of direct sunlight. Sunscreen, hats, and sufficient clothing will protect you when you have to be outside.
  • Sulfur boosts calcium uptake and promotes healing of connective tissue, bones, and cartilage. Obtain sulfur through onions, garlic, and eggs.
  • The bromelain in pineapple helps ease inflammation. Fresh pineapple is best.
  • The following foods are recommended: non-acidic fresh fruits, whole grains, brown rice, oatmeal, fish, and green leafy vegetables.
  • To avoid getting a viral infection, stay away from people with colds and viral infections.
  • Use incandescent light bulbs and stay away from halogen or fluorescent lighting.
