My mum has a problem of talking to herself.
Whenever she is resting, or sitting idle she starts to talk to herself...The things which she talks alone are events and past talks and conversations which she had made recently or years back.
What can be the reason ?
Does it mean that she cannot control her thoughts?
Please help at your earliest. Thanks
This is probably an issue that you should bring up with a
mental health professional or with your mom's primary care doctor.
Depending on her age she may be experiencing some early signs of dementia or senility.
A proper evaluation from a qualified health provider is the first step in
figuring out what might be contributing this behavior.
